The Faculty of Islamic Sciences organized a meaningful commemoration program marking July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. The event aimed to honor—with mercy and gratitude—the cherished martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, the nation, and the independence of the state; to express appreciation to our veterans; and to keep the spirit of national unity and solidarity alive.

Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatih Güzel, along with academic and administrative staff, attended the program held in the faculty meeting hall.

During the event, the epic resistance displayed by our nation on the night of July 15, 2016, and the determination to uphold democracy were highlighted; our martyrs were commemorated with mercy and our veterans with gratitude. The program, which emphasized the importance of sustaining the spirit of unity and solidarity, concluded with prayers.
