HISTORY

Arrangements and Procedures as for the Foundation of the Faculty of the Islamic Sciences, Law No 2016/957 was enacted on December 23^rd, 2016. The Law which ensures the foundation of our faculty is below.

In the reference of the Law taken in 28^th March in 1983 and with a law number of 2809 and its 30^rd additional regulation it was decided by the Council of Ministers in 28^th  of December in 2016  that the Faculty of the Islamic Sciences was founded  as under the authority of the Çankırı Karatekin University.

Prof.Dr. Hasan Ayrancı was promoted to the  faculty’s founding Dean by the order of the Council of Ministers, taken April 20^th , 2017 and its law number 800.

Furthermore by the decision, taken by  the  Higher Education Council in September 13^rd, 2019  and with Law number of 1721,  Prof.Dr. İsmet Üzen was promoted  to the faculty’s Vice Dean.

In our faculty, 1 Professor, 1 Assoc. of Professor, 5 Asist. of Professor and 6 Research Asistants works.

The faculty of Islamic Sciences has 350 students in total.As our faculty was founded just  two years ago, it offers 1^st and 2^nd year education at present and in addition to the formal education, the faculty of the Islamic Sciences offers evening education also.

It offers also M.A program for the graduate studies.
